# 相談事例：将来の夢が持てない

今回は高校2年生の男子からあった相談についてご紹介いたします。

相談内容は「**日本の将来に希望がなく、夢が持てない**」というものでした。 

## 将来の夢ってなに？

おそらく高校生（中学生も）くらいって、両親や学校の先生に**公務員になれ！ **とか、**安定した職業に就け！** とか言われていると思います。

 

要するに一般論では

将来の夢 ＝ 将来なりたい職業

この考えが当てはまっています。

 

子供に「**大きくなったら何になりたいの？**」って聞く大人をよく見かけると思いますが、上記の認識からなりたい職業を聞いてしまっていると思います。

ですが、そもそもの発端はこのような上からの聞き方から将来の夢が持てなくなっていると私は考えています。

それは、今の時代の流れが両親や学校の先生が育ってきた環境と大きく離れているからです。

こんな悩みを持つ方は、社会に出ると今度は**一度始めた仕事を辞めるな！、最低でも3年は続けろ！ **とか、**諦めずにやり続けろ！ **とも言われていると思いますが、こちらに関しても上記同様に時代の流れについてこれない大人たちが言っているものと考えていいと思います。

## 時代はどう変わったか

一番大きく変わったことは、インターネットが出回ったことかと思います。

1980年代ではスマホなんてものはなく、ネットも出始めの時代で、それまではビジネスモデルなども大きな変化はなかったのですが、徐々に技術が進歩するようになり、ビジネスモデルも大きな変化を起こしました。

例えば、1980年代で花形（人気）と言われていた職業では「**エレベーターガール**」や「**タイピスト**」「**電話交換手**」などが挙げられると思います。

ですが、その時代そんな人気と言われる職業ですら現在には、ほぼほぼ存在自体なくなってしまってしまいました。

なので、その過去の時代の考え方だけを引き継いで今の時代に残そうとしても、頑張って勉強して社会に出た時には、そもそも目指していた職業がなくなってしまうなんてことにもなりかねません。

それまで無理に費やした努力さえもはっきり言って無駄になってしまいます。  
（正直、無駄ならまだいいのですが、悪影響も与えてしまう……） 

社会に出ている先輩からの意見として、周囲のアドバイスを受けることはもちろん今後も必要になってくると思いますが、自分の選択肢を狭めてしまうようなひと昔の考え方を取り入れるのはお勧めできませんのでご注意ください。

## 将来の夢の考え方

自分の考え方ではありますが、上記の理由から、なくなってしまうかもしれない職業を目指す考え方はやめて、**どんなことがしたいか？** を考えると、自分の選択も自ずと関連性のあるところに進み、**夢の実現に向けて考える力を養う**ことができます。

周りの意見もいろいろあるとは思いますが、結局は自分の人生です！

あまり周りに流されずに自分の道は自分で歩みましょう！
