# 相談事例：友達がつくれない

今回は、中学1年生の女子からの相談をご紹介します。

相談の内容は、以前から内気で、中学生になったきっかけで友達を作ろうとしたけど、考え方などが周りと合わなく、友達が作れないと言う内容でした。

## そもそも友達ってなに？

まずは根本的に「**友達**」ってなんなんでしょうか？

そこから考えてみたいと思います。 

> 友達（ともだち）：  
> 勤務、学校あるいは志、お金などを共にしていて、同等の相手として交わっている人。友人のこと。
>

難しい言い回しかもしれませんが、「**同等の相手として交わっている人**」がポイントだと思います。

価値観が似ているとか、考え方が似ているなどの認識ができて初めて友達と言える仲になるのではないでしょうか？

## 学校の友達って必要？

今回の相談の際に、私個人の意見を正直にお伝えしました。

「**友達って必要ですか？**」と……

 

ぶっちゃけ、私同じ学校出身の同級生の友達は1人もいません。笑

私は、ただ**同じ年に、同じ地域に生まれただけの同級生**ってわざわざ友達になる必要がないと思ってます。  
（もちろん、同じ価値観や、考え方の方がいれば別ですが……）  

私は10台の友人もいれば、70〜80台の友人もいて、年齢や世代を考えなければ友達は多い方だと思います。

その中でたまたま同級生（同じ年）がいないってだけですね。笑

※ちなみに学生の友達のように毎日一緒ってわけではなく、数年に1度しか合わない友人もいますが……

## 友達の作り方

わざわざ作る必要はないと思いますが、**友達は必要**だと思います。

ですが、同級生や同じ学校内にとらわれずに、そんな狭いコミュニティーではなく、世界はもっと広いのでいろいろなところに出てみるといいと思います。

最初は勇気がいることかもしれませんが、知人が誰もいないところに飛び込んだ時には、普段よりも誰かしら優しく接してくれるはずです！

そんなコミュニティーからできた友人は、人生でかけがえのないものとなりますので、ぜひ外の世界を知ってほしいと思います。

最後に一点だけ注意点として、誰もいない場所に行った時には、恥ずかしがらず自分をさらけ出しましょう。  
（自分に嘘をついてまで一緒にいる必要はないので……）

きっと同じ志（気持ち）を持った友達が周りにいっぱい現れますよ！まずは私から友達になりませんか？
