# 相談事例：高校生のお化粧について

今回は高卒の新卒で勤め始めた女性からの相談として、社会人になって最初の洗礼を受けたお話しを紹介します。

 

どんな内容かと言うと、お化粧が下手なことが原因で**職場から「帰れ！」**と言われたとのことでした。

話しを聞いていくと、お化粧が必須の受付のお仕事だったようで、学生時代、真面目に過ごしており、お化粧の経験がほとんどなかったことから、誰にも教わることもなく社会人デビューでお化粧をしたことが大きな原因でした。

そこで、社会でお化粧が必須の職業があるにも関わらず、高校では（小学校、中学校はもってのほか……）お化粧禁止の学校が多い中で、社会に必要な経験が積めないってなんでなの？と、疑問に思ったことが相談のきっかけになったようでした。

## まずは現状の確認から

相談を受けて私自身でなにか直接的な解決ができるわけではないので、まずは私にできることとして、実際の学校で何が行われているのかの情報収拾から行うことにしました。

私の教員関係者の人脈や全国の教育委員会などに確認したところ、主に関西方面の学校が多いのですが、民間企業の化粧品会社の従業員などを先生とし、授業の中でお化粧の授業を行なっている学校もありました。

ですが、正直全国的には少ないようでした。

 

お化粧の授業をやっている学校と、やっていない学校の違いを確認していくと、どうやら学年単位？ 担任の采配？ ってところはわかりませんでしたが、全体的な授業の進行レベルに応じて授業内容を変更することができるようでした。

 

なので、授業の進行が遅くなってしまう学校では外部教師を呼び講習を行う余裕はないと言うこと。

最近では授業態度の問題などで、生徒と教師の対立のようなニュースが多いですが、そのような状態では授業が進まず、特にそのような状況下の中で外部から人を呼ぶことに抵抗があるようです（外部から人を呼んで進学率や就職率が下がってしまっては元も子もないということだと思います）。

 

もし上記のような問題がなければ、教師の采配で外部から先生を呼びカスタマイズした授業を作ることができるので、生徒側から教師に「お化粧がしたい」というニーズを知ってもらわなくてはいけません。

教師側でも察してほしいと私も思いますが、時間の問題で全生徒のニーズに答えられるわけではないことから、男女問わずに社会人で必要になりそうな「コーチング」や「マネジメント」のような授業に切り替えることが多いようです（実際私もその枠内で将来の夢の考え方についてお話しさせていただいたこともあります）。

 

以上、このような問題は相談いただいても直接解決には結びつかない部分もございますが、できる限り現状を調査し、回答させていただき今後のために事例としてあげさせていただきます。
